Connect to the Cspeed network with NetBird — your Cspeed login, no VPN files.
A short walkthrough of installing NetBird and connecting on Windows. Prefer to read? The step-by-step instructions are right below.
Trouble playing it? Download the MP4.
Log in with your Cspeed username and password (the same ones you use on the Linux servers). The first login guides you step by step:
app.netbird.io (NetBird's public cloud). Your Cspeed login won't work there.
Open the NetBird app you just installed and connect. If it asks for a Management URL / Server, set it to:
https://netbird.cspeed.io
Desktop app: NetBird → Settings (gear) → Management URL above → Connect. Or command line:
netbird up --management-url https://netbird.cspeed.io
A browser window opens for login — you're already signed in from Step 1, so it's quick. The app then shows Connected. ✅
You can now reach internal resources — SSH to your team server, remote desktop via Guacamole, and
*.int.cspeed.io names resolve automatically while connected.
New here, or want the full picture? Visit welcome.int.cspeed.io (only loads while connected) for the environment guide — team servers, remote desktop, modules, and tips.
It stays connected and auto-reconnects. Pause with Disconnect (netbird down), resume with Connect (netbird up). Check status: netbird status.
Linux — run:
curl -fsSL https://pkgs.netbird.io/install.sh | sh
macOS — brew install --cask netbird
Whichever way you install, the server is always https://netbird.cspeed.io.
Prefer a passkey? Touch ID / Windows Hello / Face ID or a security key can replace the 6-digit code — add one at login.cspeed.io → Account security → Signing in.
| Problem | Try this |
|---|---|
| Asked to create an account / pick a plan | You're on app.netbird.io (the public cloud) — wrong site. Go to https://netbird.cspeed.io instead. |
| Won't connect / "management" error | Confirm the server is exactly https://netbird.cspeed.io. |
| Connected but can't reach internal hosts | Disconnect & reconnect (netbird down then netbird up) to refresh routes/DNS. |
| "Token invalid" / login loops | Close the browser tab and reconnect; if it persists, contact IT. |
| Lost your authenticator phone | Contact IT to reset your MFA — don't get locked out. |
Change your password anytime via FreeIPA self-service: ipa.int.cspeed.io (requires being on the network).
